Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established on June 9, 2003, by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. of Japan. The company is registered at No. 10 Dongfeng Avenue, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, with a registered capital of RMB 16.7 billion. Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. each own 50% of the joint venture. It is the largest joint venture project in China's automotive industry to date in terms of scale, number of personnel, depth of cooperation, and scope of cooperation.
